Arctic Cat has recalled nearly 1,400 ATVs following reports of tie-rods bending.
The affected units include all 2011 Arctic Cat XC 450s and some 2012 Arctic Cat XC 450s. The recalled 2012s include those with the last six numbers of the VIN in the range of 6V0101-6V0178 and 700101-700230. Each has been sold since February 2011.
Arctic Cat has received three reports of bent tie-rods, spurring the recall. No injures have been reported.
Registered owners of the ATVs have been notified about the recall by mail. They have been instructed to contact their local Arctic Cat ATV dealer for a free repair.
