KTM unveils 690 Duke at EICMA
KTM unveiled several model-year 2012 motorcycles at EICMA in Milan, Italy.
“Our message for the future is clear. KTM focuses on any surface more than ever on the strength of our products,” said Hubert Trunkenpolz, CSO, KTM-POWERSPORTS AG. “The innovations that we are showing here in Milan are a perfect reflection of our innovative, sporting and strong engagement.”
The 690 Duke was released 18 years after the launch of the very first Duke. The single-cylinder bike offers power and ABS to go along with a cutting edge design.
Just one model year removed from the introduction of the entry-level 125 Duke, KTM has unveiled a new 200cc version.
KTM has taken on the challenge of developing an electrically driven off-road sports motorcycle for mass production and has become the first of the major motorcycle OEMs to do so with the Freeride E. The electric motor, developed in-house, is emission-free and nearly silent.
The Freeride 350 is a lightweight bike capable of translating the thrill of the classic Enduro experience into one that requires the least amount of physical exertion.
