Arcangeli named American Honda auto senior VP

Henio Arcangeli, Jr.

As of Dec. 1, 2017, Henio Arcangeli, Jr. has been named the senior vice president of the Automobile Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., overseeing both the Honda and Acura brands and the Core Support Division within the Automobile Division. He also will lead Honda’s day-to-day operations as general manager of the Honda automobile brand effective Dec. 1, 2017, upon the retirement of Jeff Conrad.

Arcangeli joined American Honda on Sept. 11, 2017.  He brings with him more than 15 years of experience as a senior operating executive with several major companies. 

From 2014-2016, he served as president, North America Project for Yanmar North America, a global manufacturer of diversified industrial and consumer products, where he was in charge of creating consumer focused businesses and enhancing Yanmar’s brand awareness in North America. 

Prior to Yanmar, Arcangeli served as a senior executive with Yamaha Motor Corporation USA.
