Moose Utility unveils new products for 2016

The 2016 selling season is in full swing, and Moose Utility Division is kicking things off in a big way with an updated offering of parts and accessories for ATVs and UTVs. On Feb. 27-28, Moose had staff on hand at the Parts Unlimited Showcase in Atlanta, showing to dealers all of its new products.

The new 12-page flyer features numerous new items like UTV/ATV CV Protectors, a Wheel Chock and Tie-Down Strap Kit, Sway Bar Linkage Bushing Kits for Can-Am models, Hood Racks, ATV Brake Cables, a Tree and Cable Saver Winch Strap and Water Pump Rebuild Kits and Seals to name a few. It is Moose’s constant mission to keep adding all the new items riders need, whether it be general maintenance items or something to dress up a unit.

Here’s a look at some of the new products from Moose Utility Division.

Double Crossbow Rack

With the growing popularity of crossbow hunting, UTV owners have encountered difficulty in safely transporting crossbows on their vehicles. The perfect solution to the problem, it transports two full-sized crossbows securely held in place on a unique cradle mounted to the upper rails of the UTV bed. The Double Crossbow Rack is constructed of super-strong aircraft aluminum and includes cushioned, Velcro-secured cradles in which the crossbows are held in place and positioned inward to prevent contact with branches and vines. The unit includes mounting plates and hardware for solid and secure attachment to UTV beds. (For use on Polaris Rangers, mounting plates accommodate use of the bed peg holes, but the Lock and Ride plungers are not included.) MSRP is $159.95.

Wheel Chock & Strap Kit

Secure your ATV or other off-road vehicle during transport using this kit that includes heavy-duty 2-inch webbing wraps to use around wheels 10-30 inches in diameter. Two metal brackets on each wheel prevent rolling. The kit is rated for vehicles up to 1,500 pounds, and it includes four powder-coated chocks and two 6-foot by 2-inch ratchet straps. MSRP is $39.95.

Hood Racks

This two-piece all-steel tubular basket allows users to carry more items, like guns and gear. Easy to secure, the Hood Rack’s design allows equipment to be easily strapped down to the multiple mounting points on the hood rack. Placing your equipment in a hood rack allows you to dump your bed without unloading or rearranging equipment. Add 30 percent more space with a Hood Rack. Installation is easy, with no drilling required. MSRP is $299.95.

Spare Tire Carrier

Nothing can be more frustrating than getting stranded in a remote place with a flat tire on your UTV. The Spare Tire Carrier solves the problem by allowing you to take a spare tire with you. It works equally well attached to the frame of the UTV top or to the back of the cab.

It installs in seconds with no drilling or bolting required. The spare tire is held in place with two mounting studs and secured with easy-grip, fluted wing-knobs. The unit fits UTVs with frames (roll bars) from 50-64 inches wide. Please note that the spare tire is not included with this product. MSRP is $257.95.
