Delta Composites acquires Oxlite Ramps

Spring, Texas-based Delta Composites has acquired Oxlite Ramps. Delta is a leader in fiberglass component manufacturing and employs more than 50 employees.

Ginger Schouest, former CEO of Oxlite Manufacturing, will remain involved as vice president of business development. Schouest said Oxlite customers can expect more in the way of engineering, technology and innovation regarding new products while still being able to rely on the Oxlite standard of quality.

She also noted that supply reliability and timely delivery will be a top priority as the transition is made.

“Our ultimate goal is to ensure a seamless, positive transition in that regard,” Schouest said. “To sum up, moving forward into 2016, our dealers should expect new, innovative loading ramps and other powersports, lawn & garden and automotive aftermarket accessories as well as improved ship times.”

“I can think of no better mix than that of fiberglass and aluminum fabricators with 40-plus years combined experience between them. The product potential is simply mind-boggling.”

As a result of the acquisition, Oxlite brush guards, the No. 1-selling ATV brush guard in America for many years, will be making its way back on to the scene by the fall.
