instaVIN to provide free access to dealers in Feb.
Dealers who partner with National Powersport Auctions now have access to free vehicles reports from instaVIN.
instaVIN will offer Vehicle History and Title Reports through NPA’s online auction portal at NPAuctions.com. This enables NPA’s dealers and bidders to quickly and easily obtain reports through instaVIN’s patent-pending order process.
“History reports for motorcycles and RVs give dealers additional tools to buy and sell,” said Jim Woodruff, chief operating officer of NPA. “instaVIN vehicle history reports are a great resource that provides dealers with more confidence and displays information that matches DMV records. We selected instaVIN to be our vehicle history reporting partner because the quality of their NMVTIS report is superior, especially for powersports vehicles, and the cost structure works best for our customers.”
Links to the instaVIN vehicle history report service from NPA’s powersports listings help dealers better understand a vehicle’s history before bidding. instaVIN reports provide expanded title and brand information and help identify clean vehicles from salvage titled vehicles. The one-click order process passes the VIN automatically to instaVIN for fast and convenient ordering. NPA is providing access to free instaVIN reports on qualified vehicles from their online auction listings during February.
instaVIN reports provide current and historic DMV title data, junk and salvage events, insurance total loss records, open lien status, vehicle specification and active theft data all in real-time. instaVIN reports virtually every insurance total loss record, even though the title may still be shown as unbranded. For dealers, knowing the title brand and insurance total loss history before bidding on NPA’s vehicles can save time and money. Dealers can buy reports to build buyer confidence starting at just $6.99 each. Dealers can also buy in volume for as little as $3.99 each.
“We are excited to work with NPA to bring more value to the NPA website and auction buying experience” said Jim Irish, CEO of instaVIN. “We believe that powersports dealers will yield benefits from vehicle history reports in making informed decisions and building buyer confidence at retail.”
