AIME hires Graeber as marketing director

Marketplace Events’ Motorcycle Group on Monday announced the hiring of Kerry Graeber as marketing director for the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo, set for October 2013 in Orlando, Fla.

Graeber had most recently been brand director with the Powersports Group management team at Advanstar Communications, parent of Dealernews, Dealer Expo and the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows.

Graeber brings more than 20 years experience in marketing, advertising and public relations experience in the motorcycle industry.

“Bringing Kerry and his deep industry experience to the team is the key to the development of marketing programs for AIMExpo’s core constituencies and beyond,” said Larry Little, vice president and general manager, Motorcycle Group. “He’s produced OEM dealer meetings, and showcased the promotional value of professional racing while interfacing with manufacturers, dealers and consumers — all key experiences that will match his role in the Motorcycle Group perfectly.”

Graeber worked for American Suzuki Motor Corp. and AMA Pro Racing prior to joining Advanstar.

“I’m thrilled to be part of the AIMExpo team and look forward to helping bring this revolutionary event to the motorcycle community,” Graeber said. “The American International Motorcycle Expo will energize the industry by being the first event of its kind in North America to gather everyone in the market in one place at one time.”

The inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo will take place Oct. 16-20, 2013 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.
