For the third year in a row, Harley-Davidson owners and sellers can meet and swap any Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Armed Forces Day, May 19, at Laidlaw’s Swap & Meet event, 1919 Puente Ave. in Baldwin Park, Calif.
The 45,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Laidlaw’s Harley-Davidson building — with its landmark 70-foot tall monument sign — is located south of the eastbound I-10 freeway in Baldwin Park, just 20 minutes south of Los Angeles.
The Swap & Meet will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the pre-owned Harley-Davidson location outside the main building. Sellers will be able to register their Harley-Davidson motorcycles free of charge and find an outdoor spot to showcase their motorcycles and meet potential buyers. Additionally, sellers will find help with financing professionals for potential buyers and receive help with necessary Department of Motor Vehicles paperwork from the Laidlaw’s Harley-Davidson sales team. DMV-required fees for services will be collected.
Likewise, buyers will find free road-ready inspections on any bike they may want to buy.
Held at various times over the years, the annual Swap & Meet this year is being held in conjunction with National Armed Forces Day. In order to do what they can to support America’s military veterans and active duty personnel, Laidlaw’s Harley-Davidson staff is hosting a free barbecue.
