V-Twin Expo expecting attendance increase

Annual event set for Feb. 4-6 in Cincy

The 12th annual V-Twin Expo by Easyriders is set for Feb. 4-6 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, and early reports are that attendance at the show will be on the rise for the first time since 2007.

“We’re pleased with our registrations at this point,” V-Twin Expo producer Jim Betlach said. “We’ve done considerable amounts of research and work promoting the show for 2012.”

During the research Betlach came up with some interesting data. During the regular dealer registration communications, Betlach and his team focused on three cities that had an abundance of dealer representation at the 2007 show.

“Only 46 percent of them were still in business,” Betlach said. “I think most folks aren’t aware of how the business has changed at the local level.”

Dealers will once again be visiting the Cobra booth at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati.

Even so, Betlach once again has more than 200 exhibitors, and attendees continue to sign up on a daily basis. Dealer registration is now running ahead of last year.

“It’s shaping up to be another great show,” he said. “If you are a V-twin dealer, Cincinnati is the right place to get business done and leave with profit-centered ideas.”

On top of seeing what’s new on the show floor, dealers can attend an assortment of interactive seminars presented by expert industry panelists.
