Memorial service today for Brant Russell, 55
Motorcycle industry veteran Brant Russell, 55, passed away suddenly on Catalina Island, Calif., on June 4. He had no known health issues, but went quickly and quietly.
Russell had a long and colorful history in the motorcycle and ATV industry. He spent 11 years as the vice president of marketing and sales at Yoshimura R&D and was involved with the marketing and sponsorship of many racers and teams, starting with Jeremy McGrath in 1996. For the last few years, Brant worked at Acorn Woods Communications, a public relations firm in Huntington Beach.
Services will be held at the Huntington Beach Masonic Lodge (601 Palm Avenue) at 6:30 p.m. on June 17.
