Manufacturer adds another European warehouse

Brake manufacturer Brembo has invested more than $45 million in a new manufacturing facility that will be located in the Czech Republic.

The new factory, which will produce brake calipers and other aluminum components, will be operating next year.

As part of the new endeavor, Brembo has set up a wholly owned subsidiary in the Czech Republic trading under the name of Brembo Czech s.r.o. The company says Brembo Czech s.r.o. is expected to achieve sales turnover of around $71 million in 2014, generated through new business. To date, projects have been secured from Land Rover, BMW, GM and Audi.

Brembo supplies high -performance brake systems for a number of two-wheel and four-wheel manufacturers, as well as clutches, seats, seat belts and other components for racing only.
