Honda updates its UTV for 2011

American Honda Motor Co. continued to unveil part of its 2011 lineup, including its updated side-by-side.

The 2011 Big Red will feature an increased load carrying and towing capacity, revised suspension, contoured bench seat that allows easier entry/exit, Maxxis Big Horn tires and a Roll Over Protection Structure that meets OSHA requirements. The four-wheeler, what Honda calls a Multipurpose Utility Vehicle, will be available beginning in November.

Other 2011 models will include the Honda Interstate, which will now be available as an optional ABS model, the Shadow RS and its fuel-injected, 745cc V-twin engine, Shadow Phantom and Fury, the latter of which will be available in December in Dark Red Metallic, Pearl White and Matte Orange Metallic.

The announcement also included two off-road bikes, the 2011 CRF80F and the CRF100F.
