American Honda reveals two more 2011 scooters

American Honda Motor Co.’s Powersports Division will release two additional scooter models for the 2011 model year, including a 125cc offering.

“We’ve enjoyed tremendous success with our line of scooters,” Bill Savino, Honda’s powersports press manager, said in a release, “and now along with the 2011 Ruckus we’re introducing the brand-new PCX, a very stylish 125cc scooter that adds even more depth to Honda’s scooter line.”

The Ruckus features a liquid-cooled 49cc engine, an electric starter and Honda’s V-Matic automatic transmission. It will be available in orange/black and black.

The 2011 PCX is a sporty mid-sized scooter with a 125cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected four-stroke engine. It will be available in pearl white and candy red.

Prices for the new models have not yet been announced. According to Honda, additional information will be released regarding other new 2011 models in the months to come.
