Enter to win a free training day at your dealership

Through its latest Training Day Contest, Powersports Business is once again providing the opportunity to have two industry trainers come to your dealership for one day at no cost.

Those trainers will be Derek Sanders, V-SEPT’s trainer and consultant; and Jennifer Robison, Tucker Rocky’s retail environment specialist.

“We’re not expecting the industry to see new unit retail sales to bounce back to 2007 levels this year,” said Powersports Business Editor Neil Pascale. “So we realize it’s crucial that we, as an industry, do more with the traffic we have, both on the showroom floor and in the PG&A department.”

The Training Day trainers, V-SEPT’s Sanders and Tucker Rocky’s Robison, will meet with dealership staff to go over best practices that could improve store performance in the crucial selling season. The results from those on-site training presentations will be featured in a future edition of Powersports Business.

“Thanks to our partners V-SEPT and Tucker Rocky, this is the second year we’ve offered this contest,” Pascale said. “Both our partners and Powersports Business realize how important improved profitability will be going forward for dealerships after a challenging 2009.”

To register for the contest, dealers need to fill out a “Bold Ideas Contest” entry form. Deadline to register is Thursday, May 6. The winning dealership will be selected at random by Powersports Business on Friday, May 7.
