Aftermarket manufacturer makes distribution change

In an effort to be more price competitive, Wimmer Custom Cycle has recently ended its distribution agreement, the company announced in a press release.

Lee Wimmer, president of Wimmer Custom Cycle, stated in the press release, “Now, more than ever, the consumer is shopping for the best price and we have found that having a distribution price level makes the MSRP too high.

“We want all the dealers that have purchased from (Drag Specialties) in the past to know they will be approved dealers directly with us with a minimum of paperwork. We are also creating better dealer sales incentives to deal directly with us. We will still offer the great factory technical support and will continue making the best intakes the market has to offer.”

Wimmer also announced the company has relocated its sales and distribution facility to Harleysville, Pa., along with supporting sales and service in Murrells Inlet, S.C.
