U.S. sport bike manufacturer increases production

American sport bike manufacturer Fischer Motor Co. (FMC) of Pocomoke City, Md., announced a production increase for its 2010 MRX.

After shipping its first production units this summer, Fischer has been receiving orders at an increasing rate, the company said.

“We always knew that once people discovered the value of the MRX, we wouldn’t be able to build them fast enough,” says FMC President Dan Fischer, “and even though we’re increasing production, we’re still a very small company, and each MRX is hand built right here in the United States.”

Many of the first units have been going overseas to Australia and Europe, the press release stated.
