Yuasa Battery launches online store for powersports

Yuasa Battery Inc., a leading manufacturer of batteries for powersports vehicles, recently launched an online store to offer the most popular models from its product line through the convenience of e-commerce.
The store site, designed by Shopatron of San Luis Obispo, Calif., is branded like Yuasa’s Web site and features order entry and fulfillment.
“We always seek better ways to improve our support to dealers and customers,” said Bruce Ash, director of OEM and national accounts for Yuasa Battery. “By offering our most popular battery models in an online store, we can accomplish this while increasing sales of Yuasa products.”
A “Buy Online” link appears on the upper right corner of Yuasa’s Web site homepage (www.yuasabatteries.com), below the photo of the black battery. The same link also appears on the lower portion of the left-side navigation bar on all Yuasa Web pages.
Consumers may have purchases shipped directly to their homes or pick them up from a nearby dealer. The choice of shipping or picking up the purchase occurs during the online ordering process.
Among all dealers who respond with stock availability, the dealer closest to the customer will be awarded the order for the Yuasa product. PSB
