National distributor restructures its management team

Tucker Rocky has made several management changes with the goal to provide more dealer support and increase the company’s success, according to a press release from Tucker.

“My goal is to reaffirm our culture and management philosophy to ensure that our customers, our sales force, our vendors and our company continue to succeed and grow,” Tucker Rocky President Steve Johnson said in the release.

The most prominent adjustment for the company is an increased focus on business segments. As a result, Sean Phillips was promoted to senior segment director and reports directly to Johnson. Phillips will lead Tucker Rocky’s segment and brand managers.

Also reporting to Johnson will be Stephan Ulbrich, director of marketing. Ulbrich will lead marketing and advertising programs that promote Tucker Rocky and its products and services.

Both of these changes will allow Tim Pritchard, vice president of sales, to focus on leading sales and customer service and continue to work with Johnson on vendor and industry relationships.

Another change is Ross Hanson, who will now serve as vice president of operations. He will take over leadership of Tucker Rocky’s distribution centers and logistics.
