Indian Motorcycle selects importer for France, Monaco, Luxembourg and Belgium
Indian Motorcycle will expand sales to France and later to Monaco, Luxembourg and Belgium with the addition of Paul Chedid Automotive Group as its first exclusive importer/distributor, Indian reported in a recent press release.
The Paul Chedid Automotive Group has formed Indian Motorcycle France to promote and sell the 2009 Indian Chief, Indian Motorcycle accessories and Indian Motorcycle apparel in Paris. After the business develops, owner Paul Chedid plans to establish a dealer network throughout France and then move into other European markets.
The Chedid Automotive group has imported American automotive brands including Cadillac, Hummer and Corvette for more than 20 years.
Indian Motorcycle France will provide the complete 2009 Indian Chief line including the Chief Standard, Chief Deluxe, Chief Roadmaster and Chief Vintage.
“I have always wanted to be involved with a true motorcycle, manufactured in the USA,” Chedid said in the release. “When the opportunity presented itself to help bring the Indian brand back on the International stage I jumped at the chance.”
