Some Nifty 50 winners will be announced online

For the first time, some winners of Powersports Business’ annual Nifty 50 contest will be announced online at powersportsbusiness.com.
Nifty 50 winners are those products and services deemed to be must-see items at the upcoming Indianapolis Dealer Expo. Affinity Media’s editors, including those from Powersports Business, will select the Nifty 50.
The first 25 winners of the Nifty 50 contest will be announced in the Jan. 19 issue of Powersports Business. The second 25 winners of the Nifty 50 will be announced in the Feb. 9 issue. A portion of the winners also will be announced online at Powersportsbusiness.com on Dec. 30, Jan. 6, Jan. 13, Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 5.
All entrants for the annual Nifty 50 contest will be judged on potential marketability and dealer profitability.
To apply, visit Powersportsbusiness.com and click on Nifty 50. The application can be downloaded from clicking on the “How to participate and FAQ” link. Interested companies also can contact Associate Editor Karin Gelschus at kgelschus@affinitygroup.com. Deadline for companies to submit Nifty 50 entries is Friday, Jan. 9.

Parts Unlimited announces new sales rep

Parts Unlimited announced a new addition to its Northwest Region sales team.
Nick Powers will be joining that team as a Northwest Region Sales Rep. Powers started his career in powersports at age 16 selling for Ride Motorsports and has spent time in Thor MX’s marketing department.

EVS Sports hires new athlete marketing manager

EVS Sports has added a new athlete marketing manager. The new manager, Tommy Hofmaster, has been a competitive racer for the past 14 years and recently announced his retirement from professional racing. “I’m looking forward to staying in the industry and working with riders on a different level,”?Hofmaster said. psb
