Suzuki showcases new low-displacement offerings
LAS VEGAS — Suzuki unveiled two models Monday night at its national dealer meeting that seek to take advantage of this year’s popular-selling segment low-displacement motorcycles.
The two new offerings, the all-new Gladius and the TU250, both feature powerplants with less than 500cc. The TU250, which is similar to a model that was sold in Japan the past few years, features a liquid-cooled V-twin with fuel injection. The TU250 will have a MSRP of $3,499 and is scheduled to be available in March. The Gladius, a full-fairing sport bike, features a 487cc, air-cooled engine and will have a MSRP of $6,499. It is scheduled to be available in February or March.
Suzuki also unveiled other new offerings, including a new GSX-R 1000, and revealed news of a new scooter coming available next summer. For more on Suzuki’s new offerings, see a future edition of Powersports Business.
