M&R Products founder and CEO dies at 81
W. Virgil Brown Jr., the founder and CEO of a U.S. manufacturer of motorcycle, ATV and auto tie-downs, wheel chocks and other items, died at the age of 81, stated a company press release.
Brown established the manufacturer, M&R Products, and worked there for more than 28 years until he retired in 2003. The company supplies products to more than 1,000 dealers internationally.
Brown served in the Navy during World War II and later worked in the airline industry for almost 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Pat” Brown, and his five children.
