Progressive and LoJack partner
LoJack is offering a $50 rebate on its Motorcycles Stolen Vehicle Recovery System, and Progressive customers who have LoJack installed on their bikes will receive a 20 percent discount on their comprehensive coverage, stated a Progressive press release.
Each LoJack system includes a silent radio transceiver that is automatically activated when a theft is reported to police. The system sends out a signal that police vehicles, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, equipped with police tracking computers, can follow to recover the motorcycle.
The rebate is good in the 26 LoJack states and the District of Columbia where LoJack operates. It’s expected to become available in several more states by the end of the year.
