Specialty Sports, manufacturer of Teknic brand motorcycle apparel, announced its two-year partnership with Tucker Rocky has ended, and it will sell dealer direct starting with the 2009 model year.
Chris Hayes, Specialty Sports CEO, says the decision is a result of Tucker Rocky deciding to go a different route with its apparel program.
“As a result we are now preparing to evolve into a new business model and distribute Teknic directly to select dealers,” Hayes said in the release. “We feel this opportunity will allow us to take full ownership of the brand from product conception through retail presentation with limited interruption of availability for the consumers.”Click here for reuse options!
