Mitchell partners with Harley-Davidson on motorcycle estimating software
Mitchell International and Harley-Davidson have concluded upon an agreement where H-D will market and sell Mitchellís UltraMate Motorcycle estimating solution directly to its dealers.
The UltraMate Motorcycle software, according to a press release, saves time for dealers by taking out the need to manually enter repair estimate data. Users have reported a reduction in per estimate time from an average of 2-3 hours to less than 30 minutes, with a typical user reporting time of 15 minutes.
The benefits of the software affects more than just the dealers, said Mitchell International President Alex Sun.
“Shops profit from reduced cycle times, repair customers are happier to be back on the road faster and insurers are satisfied with an estimating solution that offers more repair options and fewer costly total loss designations,” he said.
