Lehman reports big jump in first-quarter revenue

Lehman Trikes Inc., having recently launched its newest powersports partnership, is reporting nearly a 43 percent jump in its first-quarter income and is preparing for a big second quarter.

The Canadian trike manufacturer reported net revenue of $4.5 million for its fiscal 2007 first quarter, which ended Feb. 28. That’s a $1.3 million jump in comparison to the last year period. The company noted that the first quarter is traditionally its smallest revenue generator of the year.

Gross profit also is higher this year at $1.2 million — a 13 percent increase.
