GEICO’s motorcycle director promoted
The director of GEICO’s motorcycle insurance division has been named the assistant vice president of the company.
Kirk La, who assumed the role of director of GEICO’s Motorcycle and Powersports Division in 2003, was recently named assistant vice president by GEICO’s board of directors.
La will have the responsibility for underwriting, policy sales and policy service at GEICO’s Virginia Beach, Va., regional operations center.
“Kirk has done a terrific job leading GEICO Motorcycle to record growth,” said Joe Thomas, regional vice president. “His expertise and knowledge of GEICO operations prepare him well for this next challenge.”
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is the fourth-largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States.
