Husqvarna’s UTV gets more powerful engine – February 12, 2007

Husqvarna’s HUV4421G and HUV4421GXP gasoline-powered utility vehicle (HUV) models have been upgraded with new Kawasaki FH680D 23hp V-twin engines.
The new engines will offer better overall performance and longer engine life, the company reported. Operators will have 15 percent more horsepower and 21 percent more torque for heavy-duty use.
In addition, durability is expected to increase due to cast-iron cylinder liners and a maintenance-free, automotive-style valve train.
The two-barrel carburetor is heated for improved cold weather performance and internally vented for better idle characteristics. psb
