Scorpion, Dealership University Create Online Training Course

Scorpion Sports says it has teamed up with Dealership University to become the first aftermarket brand to create an online training curriculum for parts and accessory personnel at powersports dealerships.

Dealers who carry ScorpionExo helmets can click on the ScorpionExo logo on Dealership University’s home page and register for the course for free. As an incentive to use the training, Scorpion Sports will offer a free helmet RaceCase (a $40 value) to every parts manager who completes the 30-minute course during November.

Tory Hornsby, general manager of Dealership University, said the company’s online system will tell DU and Scorpion staff “who has completed the course and how effectively they have learned the features and benefits of Scorpion helmets.

“The course was designed just like our online OEM courses and fits right alongside with all our F&I, parts, service, phone and sales courses,” Hornsby said.

“Scorpion Sports will always continue to train face-to-face also, but we are very excited to be a part of such a progressive program that DU has created,” said Eric Anderson, Scorpion Sports vice president.
