ADP Lightspeed Names New General Manager

ADP Lightspeed announced a change in leadership as General Manager and Vice President Rob McBratney was recently named president of ADP’s Shanghai, China office for dealer services.

Taking over for McBratney will be Laurn Rice, who has been ADP Lightspeed’s vice president of sales and marketing since 1999. As vice president and general manager, Rice will direct the company’s overall business strategies, operations and development programs.

“We will continue to be dealer-focused, first and foremost,” Rice said in a news release. “We’ll continue to work diligently to enhance our OEM and partner programs, and we’ll continue to integrate the world-class solutions available to dealers through ADP.”

McBratney is leaving ADP Lightspeed to head ADP Dealer Services’ new China office. He will be responsible for developing the dealership management system market in 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region for the automotive and heavy truck industries. McBratney led Lightspeed to unprecedented growth over his five-year tenure, and managed the company’s integration with ADP after the acquisition in 2004, according to a company press release.

“I’m extremely proud of the record we’ve achieved over the past five years,” McBratney said. “Our customers and partners can rest assured that I have full confidence in Laurn and his team. He and I have prepared for this transition for quite some time.”

Rice has held several roles within Lightspeed over 13 years with the company, including customer support, sales engineering, quality assurance, sales and product management.
