Scooters roll into 2006 – April 3, 2006

Full-year scooter sales in the United States in 2005 numbered 56,899 units, up 17 percent from 48,445 units sold in 2004, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC).

What the MIC data does not show are the thousands of units moved by dozens of smaller importer-distributors.
