DESERT STEEL TAKES OVER JET JAM
Lake Havasu’s popular Jet Jam series has found a new promoter in Desert Steel Motorsports. Formerly produced by Bullett Racing, the Jet Jam will continue to be held in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Of note, Desert Steel Motorsports has elected to go with the United States Watercross Racing Association (USWRA) for sanctioning. “DSM comes to the table with a tremendous amount of experience and background in event promotion,” said USWRA Managing Director Jacque Bryant. “I am excited and encouraged about their plans for the 2005 season. It should make for some new excitement and opportunities for everyone. Additionally, we will honor APBA memberships at these events until the 2005 expiration date.”
Desert Steel has a 15-year history in the motorsports industry, most recently producing the IJSBA World Finals. More info is available on the company Web site www.dsmevents.com.
