American Honda, Torrance, Calif., says it is preparing to introduce a quad that will serve as a replacement for the popular TRX250R, the 2004 TRX450R.
Powered by an all-new, purpose built, race-ready ATV engine based on the CRF450R motocross bike, the TRX450R will be officially revealed at Honda’s annual dealer business meeting, Sept. 10 in Las Vegas.
Honda made the announcement in a brief, three-paragraph e-mail to newsmedia in August and attached an artist’s rendering of the machine.
Honda says a complete run-down on the machine, plus information on forthcoming HRC closed-circuit performance parts, will be available once its dealers have had time to actually see the four-wheeler.
